Glüc da Dhi Re-Elected as Cézembrean Sénéchal

The elections just ended yesterday.

The results, though pretty predictable, can be seen as source of some moderate amusement.

The election, according to the law, was held as on-line anonymous preferencial vote. This time there were two options: Glüc da Dhi — the only registered candidate and a write-in.

There were three write-ins: one was His Majesty King John, voted as first preference by one of the voters, and Niclau Patíci and Ian Anglatzara voted as secont preferences by two other voters.

The overall result was:

Glüc da Dhi: 9 votes
King John: 1 vote

The victor has consequently thanked the electors:

"I guess we'll have save the celebrations for a time when we actually have a contest, but either way thanks to everyone who voted for me. I'll get to work on updating the administration guide shortly."

We wholeheartedly congratulate S:reu da Dhi for actually defeating our monarch in a democratic election, but we're assured that the King has more important business to do.
